A Chick-fil-A worker is criticizing the company for wasting food. An employee from Georgia shared a viral TikTok video showing someone throwing a full tray of chicken nuggets in the trash.
The user, who goes by @jlucvss, captioned the video, “This is what they do every night with the chicken nuggets at Chick-fil-A.”
The video has over 7 million views and caused anger on TikTok, with many users criticizing the chain for wasting food.
One user said, “It doesn’t feel right to throw away so much food when there are hungry people.”
Others suggested the chain should give the food away for free, but some pointed out that chicken left out too long could make people sick.
Chick-fil-A stated that it has a food donation program called Chick-fil-A Shared Table, started in 2012, where franchises send extra food to charities like soup kitchens.
