Jessie Gallan, The Oldest Woman in Scotland at the Time, she gave advice on how to Live a Long, Happy, and Healthy Life in the interview. She shared two straightforward secrets that were also somewhat amusing.

Jessie says that porridge should be eaten for breakfast every day if you want to live a long and healthy life. She also emphasized the significance of beginning to avoid men.

In the early 1900’s a small farmhouse was where Jessie was born. She had five sisters and a one brother. All of them slept in the same room on straw mattresses with their feet on one end and their heads on the other.

Jessie revealed the secret to her longevity when she turned 108, Everyday she ate porridge. Oatmeal is one type of porridge, which is made by boiling grains in milk or water. However, Jessie added another secret on her 109th birthday, She was of the opinion that avoiding relationships was necessary for living a long life.

“The secret to living a long life was to avoid men because they are just too much trouble.” In an interview, Jessie stated.

Additionally, she stated that she “made sure I got plenty of exercise,” “had a nice hot bowl of porridge every morning,” and “never got married.”

Jessie, who was 109 years old and full of life and a little bit of humor, had always been independent. Since she was a teenager, she had worked hard, leaving her home at the age of 13 to support herself. She decided not to get married and began working as a teenager.

Jessie stated, “I worked hard and rarely I take a vacation.”

Jessie’s nursing home said, “She is absolutely amazing.”

The Daily Record says that Jessie’s health got worse in 2015, and she died peacefully at the age of 109 in her bed with her family by her side.
