A toddler drowned in a swimming pool while his model mother was partying with her friends at a photo shoot just meters away. The tragedy unfolded in a luxury villa in Pattaya, Thailand, on Valentine’s day where Wiyada Pontawee and her photographer husband, Pongrit Hancharoenpanna, were working inside. As adults were having fun at the party/photoshoot that was attended by many models, little Chawanakon Hancharoenpanna Wiyada Pontawee lost his life, according to The Sun.
Pictures from the event show guests having fun, drinking whiskey, and feasting on grilled prawns. Wiyada, who goes by “Soda” was seen posing on a balcony overlooking the pool earlier that day. Her little 2-year-old was also seen having fun at the swimming pool with his younger brother and another child before the heartbreaking incident unfolded.

Chawanakon, who would have turned 3 just two days later, ended up drowning in the pool later that evening while his 26-year-old mother was busy getting her photos taken. It’s not clear whether Wiyada, who is on OnlyFans and other adult platforms, was shooting adult material at the time of her son’s drowning.
It was apparently, the boy’s father who heard his son struggling in the pool. Paramedics were informed about the incident at 10 p.m. Medics desperately performed CPR on the toddler quickly after arriving on the scene. He was then rushed to the hospital where doctors later pronounced him dead. Understandably, his mother was left devasted by the loss of her dear son.
“I’m heartbroken. I don’t want to live anymore. I am praying to bring my son back to life,” she expressed. When the paramedics arrived Hancharoenpanna, the boy’s father, told paramedics that he and his partner were “working” when the heartbreaking accident happened. “I was working when it happened. Then I heard the sound from the water and saw my boy in the pool. He was choking, so I jumped in to help him but it was too late,” he was heard saying in a video from the scene.
The Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Service apparently received a report about a child being in critical condition in a villa house situated in the upmarket Pratumnak area of Pattaya City, revealed a spokesperson. “At the scene, the father and mother carried the body of a two-year-old boy and asked for help at the entrance of the villa. Rescue workers tried to help and pumped the heart to try and save his life,” they shared.
“His father and mother were weeping and crying not far away, before the officers urgently transported the child to the hospital. Initially, the medical team provided the best assistance but were unable to save the child’s life,” they added. An investigation has been launched into the death of the child.
