One woman from Bulgaria has earned the title of a real-life Barbie after making drastic changes to her body over the years. 22-year-old Andrea Ivanova has no plans of stopping her obsession to change her natural features, one of which includes the use of lip fillers to achieve the world’s fullest pout.
According to The Sun, Ivanova has spurlged around $166.66 on each of her 20 lip filler injections since 2018. Though her lips are already enormous, the woman revealed she might get more injections in the future. “I had my latest injection two days ago. I feel great to have even more but some doctors think it’s enough, though I still want them bigger. My doctor said he will do more injections for me but said I have to wait for at least two months. I like my new lips a lot,” said the woman, according to The Sun in May 2020.
“It was hard to eat after the injection, and two to three days after the procedure gets more difficult. I think my lips are lovely, I love them. I am not sure if they are the biggest lips in the world but they are one of the biggest, I think,” added the woman, according to Daily Mail. Despite the rough days after the procedure, Ivanova who believes “bigger is better” has quadrupled the size of her lips in order to be more fashionable.
She admitted to visiting “almost all clinics” in Sofia, Bulgaria for cosmetic procedures and stated, “I put in my lips almost all kinds of lips fillers.”
Meanwhile, Ivanova refuses to refer to her love for lip fillers as an obsession. On the other hand, she is open to the idea of getting the biggest lips in the world. “Yes, why not? In my country the big lips are fashionable and there are many girls with fillers in the lips too.”
In regard to the public opinion on her appearance, the woman with 64.1K followers on Instagram stated that she receives a lot of compliments from people.
However, she also pointed out the negative comments she got were mostly from women. “I get thousands of compliments on my lips and on my outfit, and on my vision and style every day from people all over the world. I have both positive and negative comments, but women write most of the negative comments,” according to the Daily Mail.
But Ivanova is not affected by the negative comments. Being a woman who is comfortable with her life choices, Ivanova stated, “There are people who like me with bigger lips and there are people who like me with smaller lips but it doesn’t matter to me, because it’s important for me, how I like it.”
She added, “Other people’s opinion is irrelevant. I can’t give any indication of how big is too big, or can lips be too big, because for each person, “big”, “bigger” and “too big” are different concepts. I’m broadminded and I think people should be free to choose, which one is for them big, bigger or too big. There are no boundaries for me.”
